Free Bulky Item Collection Service

Ask your apartment manager or association representative to schedule FREE collection of bulky items by calling
Allied Waste Services at (619) 421-9400.  Bulky items will be picked up from one designated collection point at each complex.
 
Difficult-to-handle items over 60 pounds that cannot be handled with a hand truck will be picked up for an additional charge.

Holiday Tree Recycling

Contact your apartment manager or association to find out when a pick-up is scheduled at your complex.

Apartment managers or association directors can call Allied Waste Services at (619) 421-9400 to schedule free collection services.

To prepare your tree for recycling or disposal:
            • Remove all ornaments, tinsel, and garland
            • Take tree out of plastic or metal stands
            • Cut the tree so that each portion is 4 feet or less. 

Plastic trees are not recyclable and must be disposed of as a bulky item.
