Business Recycling
Per Chula Vista Municipal Code 8.25.050 it is mandatory that all businesses in Chula Vista recycle a variety of materials (please see below).
Allied Waste Services (619) 421-9400 can provide collection of recyclable materials such as food and beverage container recycling at no additional cost to all hospitality-type businesses that sell or serve food or drinks to its customers or employees. Mixed paper and cardboard recycling bins are also available at a reduced rate established by the City.
Businesses may also sell or donate recyclable and reusable materials to an alternate recycling or reuse company.
Allied Waste Services can also provide recycling for clean loads of concrete, asphalt and wood if your business is going through a remodeling or building project. Additional materials may be recyclable as well, check with Allied Waste Services before co-mingling the materials with trash.
The State mandates that each city and county and its respective residents and businesses reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills each year by 50%. Reuse and recycling are good for the environment and will help you keep your business waste costs down.
