Due to the large number of fields it is often necessary for the leagues and team managers to make the decision on the condition of a field. Use your best judgment to determine if a field is in safe, playable condition. Cancel your practice or game if the field is wet or soggy. Some fields may appear dry but isolated areas can still be very wet and subject to damage if played on, look for these areas and adjust your practice accordingly. Any damage to fields may result in possible extended closed times.

Because of the nature of most of our softball fields, it is advisable to check the playing conditions of the field if it has rained since your last game. Generally, the decision whether a field is playable or not is made by 3 pm on game day.
