Boards & Commissions

The City of Chula Vista currently has 17 active Boards and Commissions. These valuable groups provide public input to City government and facilitate quality decision-making. Members of these boards and commissions may only serve 2 consecutive terms of 4 years each. Board and commission members all serve with no monetary compensation.

To be eligible to serve on a board or commission, you must be registered to vote in Chula Vista elections.  For more information on rules and regulations related to serving on a board or commission, please refer to the Municipal Code (Title 2, Chapter 2.25), and the City Charter. If you are interested in serving on a City board or commission, please complete an application.
